Secure residency
With permanent residence, your life in Canada is settled. On a temporary visa you have to go through the inconvenience of renewing it again and again, and if a renewal is refused you may have to leave the country.
Free education for your children
Education in Canada is free through Grade 12 (the equivalent of high school in Korea), which cuts the cost of schooling — including English-language education — for your children.
Child benefit
The Canadian government provides a monthly child benefit payment for each child.
Free healthcare
Hospital care in Canada is covered at no cost. (Some services, such as dental care, are excluded.)
Pensions
It varies from person to person, but a range of pensions is available, starting with the basic public pension.
Benefits when buying a home
Once you hold permanent residence you can access first-time home buyer benefits, and you are exempt from the foreign buyer and speculation taxes — up to 20% of the purchase price in some regions — that apply to non-permanent residents.

How the SP Consulting process works

    We start with a consultation about where you stand today.

  2. 02 STEP Designing your immigration program

    Based on that consultation, we find the immigration program that suits you best. Depending on your circumstances, we map out plans such as immigration through employment or immigration through study.

  3. 03 STEP Reviewing and preparing documents

    Following the plan, we review the documents your application will require and work with you to fill in anything that is missing.

  4. 04 STEP Executing the plan

    We carry out each part of the immigration plan in turn, supporting whatever your case calls for — a job placement, a school, a visa, an LMIA.

  5. 05 STEP Applying for permanent residence

    Once the eligibility requirements are met, we file your permanent residence application.

  6. 06 STEP Handling IRCC and receiving your PR

    We manage every exchange with the immigration authorities right through to the moment your permanent residence comes through.
